In the general settings, the meta data section holds the site title and description. In each post, the post settings panel has its own meta data.
2Check visibility
A private site does not show in search engines: check in the settings that it is open. Ghost writes /sitemap.xml and /robots.txt; a robots.txt in the theme root replaces the default.
